Information about Leticia

I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge where I studied History gaining a high 2:1.

At A Level I gained AAA in History, Psychology and Philosophy&Ethics.

Since graduating and moving to London I am looking to further my passion for teaching and mentoring children to give them not only the best start in their futures but also to help them gain the grades they need to open up opportunities.

Availability: Weekdays 6:30pm onwards excluding Wednesday evenings.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: Throughout my time at Cambridge I have always had an interest in helping others academically and beyond. My enthusiasm for this started at school where I ran a History club in our Junior School for children that wanted to go beyond the school syllabus. Whilst at University, in the summer of my first year I spent 6 weeks teaching in rural Nepal. Students were aged 12 – 16 and all had a passion for learning, but with a lack of resources and teachers found themselves restricted. I worked through language boundaries and cultural differences by introducing classroom debate and tried to open up discussion.

Since then I have worked at two summer schools in Cambridge helping students from across the world with University level work, GCSE and A Level as well as university applications and interview practise.
