I am a qualified secondary and TEFL teacher with 13 years experience teaching all ages and levels, from Reception to A`Level, in British and International schools. I have tutored privately for international students abroad and helped them gain places at prestigious schools in England. Additionally, I have tutored for 11+ exams and public school entrance exams.

I have tutored privately as well as working as a Booster teacher. This involved identifying students` areas of weakness in Literacy and Maths and working with them in a one to one or small group setting, focusing on these areas in order to prepare them for KS2 SATS. I also worked as an Intervention teacher helping children acquire the tools they need to access the curriculum so they could catch up. I am very familiar with filling in the gaps that have become obstacles to children`s academic success.

I have just completed a Masters in Educational Psychology at The Institute of Education, UCL so am particularly interested in helping children adopt strategies that will help them become confident, independent learners and identifying ways to help them achieve this successfully.

I am currently looking to teach KS2 subjects, especially Maths and Literacy for those children who are struggling understanding topics or flourishing and want to be stretched through extension activities. I like to make learning stimulating, challenging and fun whilst enabling students to achieve a secure understanding of the various strategies that can be employed to help them!

I can also teach KS3 level too

Experience: I have taught in English secondary schools GCSE and A`Level. I travelled to Thailand and taught English programmes for students learning English as an additional language as well as in Universities for students on International programmes. I have 8 years experience teaching KS1 and KS2 in prestigious International schools. I have also tutored for Public school entrance exams and 11 plus as well as children who have special educational needs and those learning to use the English language as an additional language.
