I am a highly-experienced and highly-qualified teacher, previously Head of Modern Languages and Deputy Headteacher in a Hertfordshire secondary school. I also have 4 years` experience of teaching in a primary school. I now run my own tuition business, concentrating on providing high-quality, stimulating, supportive and fun tuition to students of all ages.

My teaching approach is essentially that my students should be relaxed and have fun during their lessons, whether aiming for a grade 9 in GCSE or struggling to achieve that all-important 4/5 for Maths. Maybe you need support for A level French or perhaps you are looking for an excellent 11-plus tutor who will support you every step of the way? Or are you an adult wanting to learn French from a sympathetic adult who understands the different challenges of learning a language later in life?

My students frequently obtain results at least one grade above school/college predictions and my adult students, without exception, feed back that their travel experiences are more fulfilling and enjoyable with the confidence that they obtain from their language learning with me.

Whilst fully conversant with the current (ever-changing) requirements of the exam boards, I am equally happy to teach for pleasure!

Availability: I have daytime availability for homeschoolers, adults or young people who are out of school for other reasons

I have some weekday afternoon/evening availability.
