"I have recently started learning French with Rene. I last had lessons almost 40 years ago, before giving up as soon as I could at school! In later years I have regretted this and with a recent significant birthday I have decided it is now or never! Having started using Apps (duolingo) I knew I needed more help and private tuition felt the least scary option. My first few lessons have coincided with `lockdown` so we have `met` over skype. Rene quickly took anyway any stress I felt from from learning a language and has made it fun and interesting. The lessons are well paced and very very engaging. In addition to the lessons Rene has provided helpful advise on learning methods, books etc. Rene provides lovely feedback and I find her lessons very motivating and engaging.
