I am an accomplished, qualified and experienced teacher with over fifteen years of professional teaching experience in London. I have taught in secondary schools and sixth form colleges. Throughout my teaching career, my students have achieved consistently high pass rates. Alongside my teaching, I have also been working as a private tutor. I have provided tuition to students ranging from 6 to 18 years old across a range of subjects. I have prepared students for Common Entrance (11+), GCSE and A Level exams. I strive to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks in all the subjects that I provide tutoring.
I focus on increasing the confidence of the students I work with through my patient, professional and friendly manner. I tailor each session to the individual’s personality, interests and needs to ensure they enjoy learning. I also aim to promote self-discipline with the students that I work with, as being able to work independently is a key ingredient for success. My approach involves fully engaging with the students I work with and helping them to become confident and independent learners. My solid teaching background and my expertise in Positive Psychology ensure my students get very good results from my tutoring. I am determined for young people to fulfill their potential.
Specialities: KS2 and KS3 English and Maths, 11+ exams, A Level Psychology.
Can prepare students for 7+, 8+, 9+, 10+, 11+, 13+ Entrance exams.
Availability: Monday - Friday all day.

Arzoo tutored my daughter for one year in AS and A2 Psychology. My daughter got an E in Psychology in 2016 and was devastated that she couldn`t get into a good university. She had to re-sit the whole subject again and, thanks to Arzoo, my daughter got a B in 2017.
Arzoo was extremely reliable, resourceful and hardworking. Meeting regularly, Arzoo helped to steadily build up my daughter`s confidence again, using kindness, patience and encouragement. She was instrumental in teaching my daughter good study techniques and she also gave her invaluable tips on how to improve her essays. I am sure Arzoo`s sound advice will stay with my daughter throughout her university course. Arzoo also gave us (the parents) regular feedback on the progress she was making with my daughter. In addition, Arzoo gave my daughter mock exam essays to do, which she duly marked and gave constructive feedback on.
Thanks to Arzoo`s hard work and dedication, my daughter has now gained a place at a Russell Group university and couldn`t be happier. We have SO much to thank Arzoo for. I cannot recommend Arzoo highly enough. She came along just at the right time and she was exactly what my daughter needed. Thank you SO much Arzoo.
