I am a friendly, organised and creative individual with a passion for teaching. My sessions are interactive and engaging, so that children enjoy their learning. Confidence is a huge factor in success in schools, and my sessions help boost your child`s confidence so that they can thrive.

I always complete an introductory assessment session, where games are played which will allow me to see the child`s strenghs and any gaps in their learning. From there, I will create an individual session plan tailored to your child`s needs. This will be shared with you so that you know exactly what is being covered.

I have a purpose built learning environment in an outbuilding at my home. This learning space is distraction-free, welcoming and filled with lots of practical resources to support your child`s learning.

Availability: I am available for tutoring Monday - Friday, both in the evenings and during the school day. I also run small group classes for children taking the Kent and Medway 11+ tests.

Experience: I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with a first class degree in Primary Education. I have qualified teacher status and am fully DBS checked. I have taught in mainstream schools for six years, and been a full time private tutor for the last year. I have experience of teaching children with additional needs in both a mainstream and a 1:1 setting and am able to adapt sessions to all learners needs.
