I am an enthusiastic and committed educator having worked as a 1-on-1 tutor and as a teacher in a leading independent school (91% A*- A grades at GCSE). I graduated from Bristol University in 2017 with an English Literature degree after attending Alleyn`s School. At A-Level I gained 3 A*s in Politics, Theatre Studies and English Literature (in which I achieved full marks) and achieved 9A*s at GCSE.

I have worked as a full-time teacher in a leading independent school, which has given me invaluable insight into current exam boards, revision technique and mark schemes. During this time I interviewed 11+, 13+ and 16+ candidates so have a current understanding of what makes a successful applicant.

I have tutored at Primary, 11+, KS3, GCSE, A-Level and Undergraduate level since 2015 and I pride myself on a tailored teaching approach that discovers the key to the individual’s interest in the subject and uses this as the blueprint for high achievement.

In 2019 I tutored three students with predicted 6s (B Grade) in English Literature and Language to 8s (A*) in their final GCSE exams. I also taught a student who was predicted 5s (C) and then achieved a 7 (A) and 8 (A*) in English Language and Literature respectively. I pride myself on helping students find what excites them about a subject in order for them to reach their full potential.

I teach students at primary level in a vast range of subjects. I work hard to support a child through their education by ensuring our tailored lessons are in keeping with the curriculum and teaching style of their school, whilst also finding ways to stretch them in areas they excel in.

I have been trained in remote learning and have been teaching online for the last three years so really know how to ensure a high level of learning in an online setup.

- I have been trained in remote learning and have been teaching on Skype for the last three years so really know how to ensure a high level of learning in an online setup.
- Acting Tutor for audition technique to drama school and National Youth Theatre since 2015.
- Led acting and public speaking workshops in schools as a programme to improve confidence and communication in 8-14 year old students. With a focus on working with children with disabilities and English as a second language (2016).
