My name is Ella, I`m 24 years old, and I`m a first-class English Literature graduate, currently working at Imperial College London.

I am a friendly, keen and patient tutor, with years of experience helping students to understand topics they have difficulty with. My tutees have developed confidence in their learning, and have consequently performed very well in their exams.

In 2017, I graduated with a first class degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter, and have worked at Imperial College London as a Management Trainee since September 2018. I have a consistently strong academic record, achieving A*AA in my A-Levels (English Literature, Maths, History), and 11 A*s and 1 A at GCSE level. I attended a selective grammar school, and am well-versed in 11+ assessment preparation.

My lessons are considered and engaging - I adapt well to the needs of my tutees, and aim to develop lessons that are tailored to their learning environments.

What to anticipate in a typical lesson:
-Correspondence prior to the lesson to undertsand the student`s needs, and to ascertain which areas they would like to work on.
-Detailed walk-throughs of concepts and techniques to develop understanding
-Past paper questions, and exam techniques to not miss out on vital marks.
-Setting mock exams with thorough feedback.

I am DBS checked, with extensive experience working with children and young adults.

Availability: I am available online only from 5pm most weekdays, and most weekend mornings.

Experience: I have tutored students through GCSE and A-Level exams since 2012, and worked with prospective 11+ entrants during my university career.

Notably, my regular tutee in Mathematics raised her GCSE grade from a D to an A through our hard work together (2014).
