Information about Caitlin

An Oxford English graduate with A levels in Maths, English and Politics, I am able to tutor a wide variety of subjects up to and including A Level standard.
I am also available to teach exam and essay technique and general study skills.

My teaching revolves around a solid understanding of a subject (hopefully combined with a sense of fun and enjoyment). I believe that confidence is the most powerful tool when it comes to learning and exams and I try to instill this trait in all of my students.

I tailor my teaching specifically to the needs of each individual pupil - no two people learn in the same way and I like to work alongside my students to uncover their full potential.

Availability: Available all evenings and most weekends. Full availability can be discussed on request.

Caitlin was fantastic for the 4 month build up to entrance test for The Latymer School (CEM style tests), in revising the the topics, tips/tricks and exam technique practice. "Cailtin has really quick and easy methods of working out the harder things. It was really enjoyable, not just learning, you had fun." She was excellent at developing confidence as well as knowing the subject areas (numeric reasoning, verbal and non-verbal reasoning) really well - this was crucial as the tests are designed to be almost impossible to complete in the time and this can be a big downer for the child after each paper. Over the 4 months, Calitin was a great booster to what M had achieved up to that point and definitely got M in the right zone for the tests. Thank you!
