I have received a First Class Honours Degree in Comparative Literature from King`s College London.

I am currently studying an MA in Comparative Literatures and Cultures of the University of Bristol.

I work with students in primary, secondary and higher education.

My familiarity with the various exam boards, including AQA, OCR, CIE/IGCSE, Pre-U and EdExcel means that I know the precise expectations of each exam and how to fulfil examiners` expectations.

I have a lot of experience in the education sector, having both tutored before and working as a volunteer teaching assistant. I am a very committed and positive person, who is willing to go the extra mile with students to ensure that they achieve their grade.

I can offer general tuition for early years education in all subjects; tuition in all subjects for the 7+ and 11+ and in English and Verbal Reasoning for the 13+; French up to GCSE; English Language, Literature, History and Psychology up to A Level.

Availability: Every day except Fridays.

Experience: I have experience working in primary school education as a volunteer Teaching Assistant for KS1 children.
I have also worked as a volunteer Teaching Assistant with Year 8 students with severe learning difficulties.
For four years I volunteered with Action Tutoring, where I worked one-on-one or with groups of students aged 8-16.
I also have experience tutoring the 11+ and 7+.
I have tutored students in 7+ and 11+ entrance exams for many of London`s top independent schools, including South Hampstead High School, UCL, Westminster, Highgate, and King`s, among others.
In terms of GCSE and A Level, I have a lot of experience with English Language and Literature and History, raising attainment and helping students achieve top results.
Additionally, I have a long history of working with younger pupils to raise attainment, rather than focussing solely on exam results. For the most part, these students have a special educational need which I`m happy to accommodate or internationally born parents who desire a native-born English tutor to help their children through homework and the school syllabus.
With a firm belief that independent learning is as important as one-to-one help, I set students homework on a weekly basis with prompt and thorough marking to ensure that they gain confidence in their own writing as well as in our work together.
