I am a published writer and blogger, academically qualified to degree level and with professional teaching and mentoring experience of children and adults, able to offer remote support and guidance to students with their coursework and dissertations specifically within the areas of Film and Media Studies, English Language and Literature, and Drama (theoretical and practical). I also offer a complete training in Podcast Production which can be tailored to the needs of the learner.

My own academic specialisms are Film Studies with Production (degree) with post-graduate learning (and teaching) in English (Language and Literature) and Drama, Psychology and Project Management, and I have a strong knowledge of media generally and interests in science and music. Additionally, as a published writer, blogger and essayist I am excellently placed to deliver guidance on language use, grammar, structure and referencing with regards to any essays or dissertations for any subject so long as they are written in English.

I mostly teach online but am able to offer in-person teaching to students based within five miles of the centre of Oldham, Lancashire. I hold a current DBS Enhanced Disclosure.

My hourly rate for online tutelage via Tutor Hunt is £37.50 but I am happy to offer the first hour at a discount rate of £13.50. In-person lessons cost £45/hour to cover travel expenses.

Availability: I am very flexible and can generally make online appointments at any time daytime or evening, weekday or weekend if given a few days` notice.
