Hi, I’m Tahani — a passionate and experienced tutor with over 10 years of success helping students aged 4 to 18 thrive academically.

I specialise in English, Maths, and the Arts, bringing creativity, clarity, and structure to every lesson. I also teach Media and Film Studies and History of Art, offering flexible support across the curriculum.

Alongside my one-to-one tutoring, I run a vibrant local tuition centre where I support small groups, while continuing to offer personalised 1:1 sessions in my area. Whether your child needs long-term academic support or focused exam preparation, I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, learning style, and goals.

I also have experience working with children who have mild to moderate special educational needs. I carry out holistic, engaging projects with hands on, visual activities and games to engage the student and work through play to build a positive relationship with learning.

With teaching experience at the prestigious British International School, I combine strong subject knowledge with a nurturing, communicative approach. I work closely with both students and parents to track progress and adapt support – because I find this to triad to be absolutely key for each student. When all three are working together seamlessly, it allows for students to reach their potential.

Experience: I have extensive experience in tutoring children of varying ages ranging from as young as four up to A level in Maths, English, Art and Film Studies. I have also successfully tutored students for 11+ entrance exams with students of mine successfully being accepted into Merchant Taylor’s, John Lyon, Orley Park, and schools in both the Buckinghamshire and South West Herts Consortium.

I have listed and also have experience with bi-electives such as Film Studies, History of Art and Art and Design, architecture, website and graphic design.
