Leila

I am a graduate of Oxford University (Geography BA, First Class Honours) and the School of Oriental and African Studies (MSc Politics, Conflict, Human Rights). I was an IB student at the United World College of Hong Kong.

Teaching has always been important to me, from leading revision sessions as a student myself, to tutoring during university, to supporting students reach their potential alongside my work as a freelance consultant in the NGO sector.

I am competent and confident tailoring sessions to the needs and desires of my students and their curriculum. I aim to support my students in acquiring the subject knowledge at hand, but also in developing confidence, study skills, and academic curiosity.

I have experience working with gifted and talented youth and those with special needs (notably high functioning autism). I have also supported students through university (Oxbridge and other) applications.

Availability: I am available on most weekdays, weekday evenings, and weekends.

Experience: I have tutored Geography to IB, A Level, and GCSE students and have tutored primary and secondary age students on an array of other subjects (maths, physics, biology, English, French). I am also confident offering 11+ support.

I am fluent in French, and have offered language support to primary, secondary, sixth form, university, and mature students. I have also tutored English as a second language to students aged 4-18.

I have experience supporting students with autism, Asperger`s, and down syndrome.
