Experience: I am currently a Journalism Lecturer, Shorthand Specialist at Liverpool John Moores University. I have 120wpm shorthand and I am an NCTJ registered shorthand tutor. Class I Journalism degree from LJMU, PGCE from University of Chester.

My previous job role was as an English teacher in two secondary schools on the Wirral. I completed my English teacher training with a grade of `Outstanding` with a PGCE from the University of Chester. Qualified teacher status from the Department for Education.

I have taught English to KS3/KS4 and KS5 Media both A-Level and BTEC/CTEC. I have delivered a range of topics across these subjects and helped pupils build the skills they need to succeed. Within English KS3/KS4 I have taught a range of Shakespearean and modern-day plays, transactional non-fiction writing, novels, poetry, speaking and listening activities and prepared pupils for their GCSE exams.
