Hi my name is Mrs , I am a qualified teacher with over five years of experience supporting pupils 1-1 in an education setting with various needs. I am a qualified primary school teaching a PGCE from St Mary`s university.

My teaching style:

I cater my teaching to each child`s needs and learning style. I use various resources, quizzes and games to keep children engaged and enjoying the lesson. I carry out assessments at the start and end of the unit`s topic to monitor the progress the child has made.

•In lessons with primary children online or face-to-face, I will encourage them to engage with whole-body learning to participate and enjoy learning fully.

•In lessons with A-level students, my approach is more discussion based;; I will talk about what they perceive as their strengths and weaknesses in a given subject. Discuss and analyse their writing and essay exemplars.

Experience: I have experience in supporting and teaching in a classroom setting. I can engage learners and cater learning to their learning styles. Additionally, I have two years of experience supporting children with autism with their learning goals and have an in-depth understanding of the primary, special needs and secondary curriculum.
My experience in special education needs gives me an understanding of the barriers that some students might face. I can cater my resources and teaching style to help them overcome those barriers. My Degree in Psychology with education studies will enable me to support your child`s well-being and help them to overcome their learning barriers to achieve their goals.
Additionally, I have worked in two of the highest-achieving outstanding primary and special needs schools in southwest London and Surrey.
