I am a fully qualified Primary and EFL teacher and have an MA Honours degree in English specialising in comparative literature. I have a wealth of experience teaching a wide range of ages despite being primary trained and specialised in teaching business and conversational English during the time that I spent teaching abroad.
My teaching style is somewhat contemporary, I believe that in order to succeed in a subject you must enjoy it as much as possible, and this in mind endeavour to make the learning experience both fun and personal to the student whilst still incorporating the key criteria required to pass.

Experience: I have been teaching since 2013, however in the past year have been teaching year 2 and 6 classes around West Yorkshire preparing them for their SATs. As a result I have a robust knowledge in the expectations for these tests and have achieved exceptional results. I am now a permanent staff member at a primary school on Leeds teaching in year 5.
I have been doing freelance proofreading and copy-editing for the past three years now with University dissertations and essays of all levels.
