Information about Gillian

I have spent 8 years teaching Year 3 to Year 6 pupils in a primary school. I am now using my teaching skills to tutor pupils of this age group on a 1 to 1 basis.
I love to see my pupils make progress and become more confident in their ability. I am very patient and will tailor the learning and pace to the level of the individual. I am willing to travel to clients for lessons on weekday afternoons/evenings.

Gillian has been very responsive and reliable. She has built a good relationship with my Year 6 son who is always happy to attend the sessions. Over the last few weeks, he has quickly begun to fill the gaps in his learning and has grown in confidence. I would recommend Gillian to other parents looking for a tutor.

Just had our first session to help our child with his 11+. I was unsure about using the site but after speaking with Gillian and her first lesson, we are glad we booked her. Our child felt at ease with her and enjoyed the time he spent with her. He found her teaching valuable and he has started to feel more positive about the test. We are continuing with her tutoring. It`s a weight lifted from our shoulders, as we feel our child will now be better prepared.
