Information about Saad
I am an enthusiastic and committed primary and secondary tutor with 2 years of teaching and tuition experience. I have taught both in a school setting and at a tuition centre, providing tailored lessons for groups as well as on a 1-to-1 basis.
Availability: I am available to tutor any time during the week, apart from Friday afternoons (12-4pm).
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: Experienced Tutor in Maths, English, Science & Arabic
I am a postgraduate student who has successfully completed the first year of my masters course in Translation Studies at the University of Birmingham, for which I received distinction. At undergraduate level, I achieved a 1st class law degree (4.99/5.00 GPA) and an undergraduate diploma in Arabic language with distinction (4.97/5.00 GPA).
Further to my academia, I have two years of varied tuition and teaching experience, ranging from teaching KS2 students in a school to offering tailored tuition sessions to KS3 and KS4 students preparing for the GCSE exams at an Ofsted registered centre. I teach a variety of subjects including Maths, English, Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics), Arabic and RE to children between ages 5-16 (years 1-11).
I have provided lessons for students preparing for their GCSE exams in accordance with the new curriculum and therefore I possess a good understanding of the new 9-1 syllabus` and grading system. I have also helped students prepare for 11+ grammar school entrance exams, as well as year 6 SATS.
I consider myself a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher and I tailor my lessons in accordance with each students needs and abilities. I have a very friendly approach and would describe my teaching style as student-centred, meaning I adapt my teaching style to each student`s unique way of learning. I strongly believe in making learning enjoyable for a child and recognise that every child learns differently which must be accounted for in order to enable them to reach their full potential. To help students reach their full potential, I offer regular feedback to parents and set students weekly homework tasks to consolidate and strengthen their learning.
