Hi, I`m Alex.

I`m studying Engineering at the University of Warwick.

As a tutor, my goal is to provide a structured and personalized learning experience to help students achieve their academic goals.

In order to tailor each lesson, I make sure that I assess each student`s current knowledge and skill level, and work with them to identify specific areas where they need improvement. I also create customised lesson plans addressing their individual needs and learning style. I believe that active participation is essential to learning, so I encourage students to ask questions and participate in discussions.

Overall, my approach to tutoring is tailored to each student`s unique needs and goals, with an emphasis on active learning, measurable progress, and a supportive environment. I am dedicated to helping each student achieve their full potential and feel confident in their academic abilities

Experience: I have been tutoring for several years focussing on GCSE maths and all the sciences, and I`m familiar with all the main exam boards. I also teach KS2, KS3 students and have expertise in 11+ and 13+ tutoring. I also can provide sessions to work on personal statements/applications for University and CV`s .

My degree contains aspects of many of the subjects taught at school - including all the sciences, maths and design - giving me huge knowledge in these categories.

I`m keen to help students unlock their potential, teaching in a relaxed style at your own pace. Through my studies, I have lots of experience with dealing with exams, and the best way(s) to revise. I offer new ways to look at exam questions or topics to make them easier to understand, using my experience from my degree.
