My teaching method is based around `Mastery of Mathematics`. This involves teaching Maths as a more continuous subject, where the topics interlink and form building blocks upon which other concepts are built. This differs from the traditional approach, which teaches Maths as a subject formed of individual non-connecting topics. My approach has helped secondary school pupils reduce the amount that they have to `memorise` and instead improve their understanding of Mathematics, and has therefore improved their attainment at GCSE.

My online lessons will be based around one key concept that you are initially struggling with - the sessions will work on understanding it to a deep level before looking at how it connects (and therefore supports) other Maths topics.

Availability: I am usually available in the evenings during the week and during the day at weekends. I am also usually available in school holiday times throughout the day.

Experience: I am an experienced Maths teacher currently working as the head of GCSE Maths in a secondary school. I also currently work as an examiner and as such, can offer expert advice and support to help you achieve the highest grades at GCSE.
