Information about Tor
I am 25. I have a degree in psychology and a masters in Health Psychology. I enjoy working with young people and happy to help with confidence and exam technique as well as academics.
I specialise in teaching students with additional needs, ranging from health conditions (both physical and mental), behaviour that challenges, specific learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions or English as an additional language.
Availability: During term-time, I am currently offering online lessons and may be able to offer lessons after school but my main availability is during school hours which may suit a homeschooled individual or someone doing part-time study/college.
I can also offer one off or sporadic lessons to those who need this.

Experience: I have been tutoring since 2015 and have since set up my own business. I have experience tutoring Maths, English and Sciences at GCSE Level and Maths & English from KS1 to KS4, including entrance exams and the 11/13+.
I also teach A Level Maths, Psychology and Religious Studies.
I am up to date with the specifications and syllabus for both A Levels and GCSEs and can homeschool GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and Literature.
I can also help you with your psychology undergraduate degree.

Tor was brilliant with my daughter, who can be shy with people she doesn`t know, and is anxious. Tor took the time to get to know a few things about my daughter before the first session to help things run smoothly. She was calm, polite, professional and knowledgeable. Nothing was ever too much bother, and she sometimes stayed over the time when in the middle of explaining something or working through a question. I would recommend her to others and ask her again if I needed. Thank you so much.

Tor is very thorough and informative from the start, which is helpful when you trying to choose a tutor. She is calm and patient when tutoring my daughter who is shy, so this has been a very good match!

Although still in the early stages of tutoring, I am extremely happy with Tor and, more importantly, my son is. She is professional whilst still being approachable and nothing is too much trouble. She responds promptly and informatively to any queries I have had. She relates very well to my teen and took the time to find out a few things about him before their lessons began and she is already bringing out more in his written work than has been accomplished previously.
Absolutely worth 5 stars.
