Hello, my name is Salmaan. I am passionate in the field of Psychology and I am a A Level and university level Psychology and Criminology tutor. I have completed my undergraduate in Psychology and Criminology and completed my masters in Health Psychology.

During this time I have developed a keen interest in the field of Religion and Psychology in particular! I am currently in the process of publishing my research project that focuses on prayer, gratitude and wellbeing.

I enjoy helping others and seeing people succeed. I have been working now for over a year as a learning mentor at Lilian Baylis Technology School which is rated as ‘outstanding’. I have also been working as a tutor as well.

My eventual plan is to become a Health Psychologist and counsellor. I believe I can utilise what I have learnt from my masters and my past academic experience to helping with confidence as well as just getting good grades. My approach to tutoring is one that is based facilitating individuals self efficacy, self esteem and confidence. I believe these qualities are important factors that facilitate to getting good grades. My tutoring will be laid back but productive which I believe will help in getting the best grades possible.

I am also an actor. I have studied at Identity school of acting for 4 years and at the MN Academy for a year. I have gained valuable skills through my time at these schools. I can coach and help with:

- Finding role that fits you
- Ways to approach a scene/play/role
- Importance of movement
- Providing feedback on performances
