I am 23 years old and currently work in Yorkshire as a Junior Doctor having completed my study of Medicine at the University of Leeds. I have completed my A levels in which I achieved 3 A`s and 1 B in the subjects of Biology, Psychology, English Language and Chemistry. I completed my A levels at The Crossley Heath School.

As a hard worker with experience in many areas of education and life, I feel I can provide invaluable help to students to improve grades and applications, ultimately leading to a brighter future! I understand how hard education can be at times and know this first hand as I am still studying myself. This means I can relate to students better and know your everyday struggles.

I am familiar with all exam boards including, AQA, OCR, OCR Gateway, Edexcel and also foundation/access courses and have offered 11+ preparation help to many also.

I am kept very busy with referrals and this has even led to me tutoring 4 students on the same street! This means that my schedule is quite packed but I will always endeavour to provide a viable option for tuition to those requiring my help.

This is mostly related to Medicine as I consider providing help in gaining entry to Medicine my strongest field and have a superb track record in providing admission to medical school. In the previous three years, I have helped numerous students gain entry in to Medicine, this has included running interview workshops and working on personal statements. For the 2016 AND 2017 intake, every single medical applicant I worked with had at least one offer to Medical School. Not only have I worked with students at A-Level, but I have also helped with entry in to postgraduate Medicine. My services are unique as I not only work on personal statements and interviews, but also offer help with deciding which university choices are best after reviewing all aspects and I am also competent in helping to secure voluntary work and work experience! **

Experience: Alongside running my own 11+ tuition centre in Halifax and running a medical school application business , I also provide 1-to-1 tuition in a variety of subjects and my reviews will show the success my students have had as a result of this.

My 7+ years of teaching experience stems from helping those around me, I am always thought of as an incredibly helpful individual both by friends and family and my hard working nature is often inspiring. I have taught younger students and helped with many science/healthcare related applications in the past after ensuring the grades required have been achieved, I have found that I have had success in this because of the relaxed but professional relationships I form with tutees.

Not only have I worked with students, but I have also been a Peer Mentor at college meaning I am used to monitoring progress of individuals and building on experiences and successes. Currently I am a representative for the Neurology and Neurosurgery society at university and am also involved in a mentoring scheme meaning in which I help those in the year below me with studies and general life. As a part time job I have also worked at Eureka! The National Children`s Museum, which undoubtedly shows I am capable of working with all ages and naturally able to teach.

Aside from this I have also volunteered in a scheme in which I mentored ex-criminals to integrate back in to society through the means of education and employment; this further enhanced my approachability and means I am comfortable with working with all types of individuals.

I`ve also been heavily involved in Medical applications and interviews and am well versed in the requirements of various medical schools throughout the UK. I`ve been a mentor for many who have applied to Medicine with outstanding results and hope to continue this for my tutees also. As a student doctor, I`ve set up and run my own interview and personal statement workshops and have my own tuition business as a result of this. Alongside Medicine, I have also successfully aided entry on to courses such as Dentistry, Pharmacy, Law and Teaching.

The results of my tutees speak for themselves, with many going on to achieve A`s and A*s in their subjects and a 100% success rate of students attaining their required grades to meet their offers for university. All my students have benefited from my teaching, with some simply improving by the one grade they required, to others improving from a D to an A* within the space of just 2 weeks of daily tuition!
