I have recently successfully achieved a Distinction in a PGCE. The process of becoming a teacher has a personal narrative which is found to be in line with that of organisational professionalism.

I became interested in teaching while studying for a BSc in Psychology on a part-time basis at Birkbeck College, University of London. While studying I started volunteering and consequently working in schools as a Teaching Assistant.

While working as a teaching assistant, I had a clear idea of where my passion laid, teaching. I pursued my career development with Canterbury Christ Church University in 2018 where I trained as a teacher on a PGCE part-time 2 years course.

On becoming a teacher I aim to help students prepare for finding their own path in life beyond schooling. I hold a belief to inspire young people by promoting the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all learners where I can use my skills to give something back. I deem essential that every pupil has equal access to effective learning and relevant education that promotes the opportunity to succeed.
