I have been a classroom teacher for 30 years and am now semi-retiring (end of summer term 2021). Throughout this time I have taught at a variety of schools and at all levels (Early Years through to A Level).
I aim to provide a fun and challenging learning experience, targeted to each individual child. I am friendly, patient and supportive and love creating tailor-made classes and activities which help children grow in confidence and achieve their full potential. I am especially experienced in offering individual tutoring to children whose parents feel they would benefit from extra support/ booster sessions in KS1/2 English and Maths, including help towards SATs and 11+ examinations.
I also have a TEFL qualification and can teach English as a second language to both adults and children. In addition, I offer French and Art tutoring up to GCSE level.

Availability: Weekends, mornings, afternoons, evenings.

Experience: I have 30 years` teaching experience at both Primary and Secondary level and am now semi-retiring.
I have taken on individual tutees for KS 1/2 Maths and English in the past and very much look forward to having the time once again to concentrate on my private tutoring now I am entering semi-retirement. I have experience of teaching Maths and English at all Primary levels including SATs and11+ preparation. With an initial joint degree in French and Visual Art and a TEFL qualification I am also able to offer French language, Art tutoring and English as a second language.
