Information about Ana
UPDATE: ALL of my GCSE Spanish students achieved a 7(A) or above this summer 2019 and my A`Level Spanish students all achieved a B or above. Well done to them all.
I am an experienced, qualified and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages teacher. I am bilingual, both my parents are Spanish but was born and raised in London and attended the Spanish bilingual school there, Vicente Cañada Blanch.
I offer Spanish to A`Level and French up to KS3.
2:1 BA Modern Languages:(Spanish and English Literature)
Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Modern Languages- Spanish and French.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
I am based in Ruislip.
I have worked in secondary and primary schools in and around London. My last post was in Nower Hill High School in Harrow.
Since having my three children I have started tutoring to allow me the flexibility for my own family and in turn the opportunity to dedicate my energy to a select number of students. I really love taking my students on their own individual journey to explore and learn the language.
In every lesson we use the four key language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing and follow the national curriculum, MFL programme of study, very closely. We also spend time focussing on exam practise and techniques that will help give my students the confidence they need as they approach taking the exam.
Please contact me if you are looking for a Spanish tutor at GCSE or ALevel or French to KS3. Look forward to hearing from you.

Feedback For Ana (6)
Ana has been teaching my daughter since last September for her final year before GCSE. In September my daughter had no confidence in Spanish, was downhearted and very negative about the subject and was predicted a grade 3 for GCSE (when I was sure she was capable of at least a 5). Ana has boosted her confidence, identified her weaker areas and worked on those and my daughters outlook on the subject is completely transformed. She is now confident, enjoys Spanish and looking forward to being able to prove herself in the upcoming exams. She has gone from a predicted grade 3/4 to a predicted grade 7 and this is entirely down to Ana`s support, dedication and first-rate tutoring skills. An excellent tutor and I am very grateful to her.
I can recommend Ana wholeheartedly, she has been teaching Spanish to my daughter for about a year now. because of moving schools this was a subject that she wanted to do but hadn`t studied before at her old school , from not knowing the language to now the rate of learning and improvement has been vast. We are all confident she will do well
Ana is an excellent teacher with Spanish as her mother tongue. She is very familiar with the curriculum and easily finds out the level of the child`s knowledge and works through systematically to improve. My daughter joined her for GCSE Spanish with a grade 3/4 a few months ago. After attending the weekly classes, she is at grade 8/9, something I never thought was possible within months. Ana is a very pleasant person and will always take time to give homework and lesson feedback. We will strongly recommend Ana.
Excellent tutor, would highly recommend, my daughters Spanish has really improved since starting the tuition.
Since starting with Ana my daughter`s written and spoken Spanish has improved dramatically. Ana`s approach is so encouraging. She gives great thought to her lessons, working closely alongside the main curriculum. My daughter always looks forward to her weekly sessions with Ana and her confidence in Spanish has grown enormously. We can`t recommend Ana highly enough!
