Teaching English Is My Expertise

The lessons I offer are for students of all school and university stages, that is for Key Stages 3 - 5, GCSE, A levels and AS levels.

Lessons are structured around an initial assessment and interview, which takes a small amount of time, so that the tutor knows how best to serve the interests and goals of the student. The student must want to come to tuition and from this the tutor establishes that the student has a strong purpose and motivation to be tutored. Goal setting and targets form a major part of how I tutor and from this a program and schedule is created so that our tuition sessions have a logical flow.

All good teaching whether in a classroom, small group or one on one needs a strong sense of purpose in order to bring about the right motivation to succeed. With this in place all tuition sessions are written along side a word document which is emailed to the student after the completion of each session. Both the tutor and student have the same file that contains all the notes, schedule, home work, internet links and suggested reading.

It is essential that excellent organisation, purpose and motivation are in place for without which, the student will fail, and to fail is wasteful and unnecessary. So in in summary my tuition is based on
