Confusion with maths signs: + - ÷ and x all look the same. Cannot judge the passing of time; always late or early. It is hard to tell the time using a clock with hands. It is impossible to estimate the cost of items in a shopping basket. Difficulty with multiplication tables. Dad was great with maths. "Science was OK, until they dragged a load of maths into it." Cannot tell left from right. Good at writing stories. Cannot use a map. No good at judging distances. "Basic maths is one thing, but there's no point to all those formulas and equations." 36 or 63, they look the same. Cannot keep score during games. Cannot dance. No memory for faces. Good imagination; a daydreamer. Panic attacks in maths lessons.
