Adding fractions is kind of insane
The bottom numbers need to be the same
You can change a fraction’s bottom by
Multiplying! You multiply
The top and bottom by the very same number
(We make sure it’s the same, we ain’t dumb, duh)
Then all you gotta do is add the tops!
The bottom stays the same! You guys let’s bop!

Fractions, we can do it
Fractions, there’s nothing to it!

Subtracting fractions is kind of lame
It’s doing the same exact thing again!
It’s kinda insane, make the bottoms the same
Subtract the tops, keep the bottoms the same!

Multiplying’s easy! Sisters and brothers,
Times the tops by each other
Times the bottoms by each other
Simple! Now let’s try another!
Dividing’s different but also the same,
You gotta KFC, that’s KEEP, FLIP, CHANGE
KEEP fraction one, FLIP fraction two,
CHANGE the sign to times, that’s all you gotta do!
