Write a paragraph about how Stephenson creates mystery and setting in the `Search for Mr Hyde` chapter. Here`s an example:

In this chapter, Stevenson creates an atmosphere of mystery and suspense by describing how dark and sinister looking Victorian London was during the 19th century. lamplighted city creates mystery and suggests that London was very dark all of the time. This reflects the theme of concealment in the novel as criminals such as Hyde can hide their crimes in the darkness of the city such criminal activity would terrify and intrigue Victorian readers. This image of lamps links to the phrases gross darkness and nocturnal city suggesting London was filthy with fog and industrial pollution to such an extent that evil could lurk in the fog and remain secret. The word labyrinths links to Greek mythology describing London at the time as being a place where monstrous evil is lurking and people could lose themselves in the darkness. The word gross links to descri ptions of Mr Hyde being dehumanised and creates a feeling of disgust in the reader, creating tension for them as they know something evil is about to revealed in this darkness. The idea of seeing only a shadow, or something in darkness that can only be half seen, creates fear in the reader as they do not know what is there. Nocturnal suggests London is a city where evil is active at night which creates a feeling of hell and the devil, similar to the mood created by William Blake in his poem London .
