Problem solving
Many pupils can manage the short questions on Maths papers, but struggle with the longer problem-solving ones. They just don t know where to start!Extracting the information from a long wordy question and organising it into a form that can be understood is key. Two-way tables, Venn diagrams, and tree diagrams are all useful. I show pupils how to use them so that they gain confidence and can approach questions on their own. This resource was uploaded by: Wendy
