Why Should We Learn An Instrument?

Parents often think of music as the least important subject, especially when it comes to choosing subjects for public exams. However, learning an instrument has proven to improve children`s confidence, motivation, hand eye coordination, and many more benefits that I simply cannot list all here!

Why piano you might ask. Piano is an instrument that does not need to be tuned. It is very easy to pick up as all the keys are displayed. Many musicians who can play piano can also pick up another instrument very easily. I myself is an example as I taught myself how to play the guitar. Reaching a higher level is not as simple as it sounds. A pianist is sometimes described as a solo instrumentalist conducting their own music with ten fingers. Each finger has a different job, yet when they play all the required notes together they must sound unified but at the same time like an orchestra.

Learning the piano is fun, fulfilling, and very managable for young children. I am very confident it will continue to be a popular choice amongst students young and old.
