Mary Magdalene- Jesus’ Closest Disciple?

Was Jesus married? Does he have a bloodline which continues to the present day. We know that there are descendants of other significant religious figures living today, so why not Jesus?

There is a significant amount of interest in how Jesus appeared, his is probably the most recognisable image in the world today, but the Bible tells us nothing of his appearance and thus, in all probability, such images are factually inaccurate, whether that matters or not is yet another question. Certainly, it was not apparently not easy for Jesus enemies to single him out on the night of his arrest in Gethsemane as the Centurion replies Jesus of Nazareth to Jesus s question was to who they were seeking. The only method of identification was through the fatal kiss from his rogue disciple.

This leads us on to the fact that Jesus was in all likelihood, your average first century Jewish man, and the usual position here, was to be married. Again, the Bible does not tell us that Jesus was unusual in this manner. It is also possible that the wedding in which Jesus performed his first miracle or Sign was in fact, his own.
