For revision purposes for examinations try using the following suggestions:

• organise your time management - sort out different subjects to be revised at different times
• use post it notes with bullet points or mind maps to make a structure for good revision techniques using key words and phrases
• always look for the key words in the questions or texts to pinpoint the location of answers
• in summaries give 1 paragraph based on main points, do not give your opinions or quotes
• in literature based texts give opinions backed up with quotes and look at the texts from the writers point of view and how this may influence the reader
• plan for 20 minutes a day for revision, choosing 1 subject at a time, don` t try to do multiple subjects as you won`t be able to retain the information
• have time to relax and get away from the pressure!
