Female reproductive cell is the best example of a macroscopic cell that can be easily experienced from naked eyes.An egg cell or an egg is also termed as gamete, it is much larger and visible than the male sperm cell, if it get fertilized with a male sperm cell a zygote forms which multiplies rapidly to form into an embryo. The cell membrane around the egg cell is known as vitelline, which surrounds the entire content of the cell and consist of yolk food, the egg cell cytoplasm is called as periplasm, the nucleus lies within the yolk usually close to one end of the cell. Egg is a great source of protein and contain all the essential amino acids, so they provide a complete protein package. One boiled egg contain 6.29gm of protein they are also enriched with 14 different vitamins and 11 types of minerals, but unfortunately high in saturated fats and cholesterol.
