Feedback for our tutors in Hackbridge from previous students
"Katherine became a Tutor for my son after a fairly disastrous iGCSE Chemistry Mock exam where he barely scraped a grade C. His confidence was very low, as were his school teachers expectations of this grade improving. He only started working with Katherine in mid-February so they did not have much time together before his iGCSE exams in May. At the first lesson Katherine really took the time to speak to him and understand how much he understood and what he found difficult not just about the syllabus but also about how the subject was being taught. From this session Katherine organised a way of learning for him that immediately started to help the subject make sense to him. His confidence began to improve, his understanding definitely improved and he actually began to enjoy Chemistry a side effect we had not hoped for but was lovely to see. As the exams approached, he was completely confident in advance of his Chemistry exam. Katherine had told him from the beginning she believed he could get an A* (much to our hilarity after she has gone home that evening!). As ever, Katherine was correct. He achieved a high A* grade for his Chemistry iGCSE and it is probably the result he is most proud of, especially considering where he started from. There is no way that he would have achieved this without Katherines help, guidance and moral support. She is a warm, caring and totally committed teacher who wants the best for all of her students and works incredibly hard to achieve the best results that they are capable of. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Katherine as a science tutor and our son has already had few A Level Biology sessions. "

"Emma, is a kind and understanding tutor who has really helped my son in the areas causing concern in getting better grades for his A levels. He has really enjoyed her lessons."

"While qualifying for his PGCE, Gerard was an outstanding maths teacher. His subject knowledge is second to none, and he is able to explain concepts in terms which all can understand. Many GCSE and A Level students achieved A`s and A*`s with his help."

 Feedback for Will

"Chad and I have known each other since we were in school. During our A levels, he was a student ambassador for chemistry and physics, where he spent time organising study sessions with our peers and with helping younger children with their science work.
He personally helped me get through my A level biology by going through some of the more difficult topics with me. If I remember correctly, he got the highest grade in A level biology than the rest of our school.
I also know that he has been a volunteer at a youth centre for around 7 years so has plenty of experience with children, and he has worked part time as a tutor for the past 2-3 years."

 Feedback for Julia

"He is good tutor as well as quick learner . He is good at presenting. He presented technical topics many times in office. He is good communicator.
Last one year he is teaching me spoken English. I learnt a lot from him. He is good and honest person."
