I am a highly experienced Business and Economics teacher at both GCSE and GCE levels with great attainment. I am passionate about the importance of teaching students both of these subjects and I am fortunate to be able to bring my industry experience into my teaching. My classroom teaching experience extends to a variety of school settings where I have held a variety of positions; both academically and in pastoral roles. In addition to my subject expertise, I have also managed the UCAS process in my previous role where I guided and supported students all through their university applications and had a high success rate of acceptance.

Availability: During the weekdays, I am available Tuesday evenings. In addition, I have some availability on Saturdays.

Experience: I have qualified to be a business and economics teacher in 2009. Since then, I have worked in both public and private schools as well as mixed and single-gender school settings. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of holding a variety of management positions. I have served as a head of department for 6 years and as an assistant director of sixth form for 2 years, acting director of sixth form for one year and KS3 coordinator as head of Y7,8 and 9 for 2 years. Additionally, I have been an examiner, marking GCSE and GCE exam papers for an Exam Board, which gains me not only experience in marking official examinations but also an insight into what is required of the students to get the top grades.
