"Charlie has been my 12 year old daughters piano tutor for the past four years ( shes currently studying for her Grade 5 exams).
Charlie has been absolutely brilliant with her. Although shes quite musical, she initially wasnt very conscientious about practicing (she thought 5 minutes would suffice)! Hes managed to encourage and cajole her into a regular routine where she now loves practicing and is making great progress.
She describes Charlie as encouraging, patient, makes playing fun, always has interesting anecdotes and observations on the composer/ piece shes practicing and of course an amazing pianist himself.
I can most strongly recommend him for any young person who wants to learn how to enjoy playing the piano and/ or achieve her/his musical potential!
PS Im happy to have the above quoted but under the anonymised rubric Absent minded professor"
