"I have known Yaya for approximately 27 months. Within this time I have observed him tutoring my friend who was completing a course for access to nursing. Initially the support was for maths but he identified that she also required support with science therefore tutored her in both. Yaya was available for each arranged lesson, he showed a lot of patience and double checked to ensure she understood information. He asked her to explain information to him in order for him to gain clarity for if she understood something he had taught. He revisited points that she did struggle with and set her tasks to do between their sessions. He remained focused and tailored the work to her level of understanding. Yaya has demonstrated good interpersonal skills and he can develop good professional relationships with clients."
