Achieving outstanding GCSE results of 8` and 9`s enabled me to be selected for the prestigious College Scholars Programme, and subsequent to that I secured a weekend job tutoring secondary students for which I have been doing for the last two years. Tutoring such students allowed me to acquire key teaching skills required when educating peers to facilitate understanding. Utilising my entrepreneurial prowess, I launched my own tuition company. Working as a tutor, improved my teaching skills as it involved simplifying information based on the needs of the students. I focus on tailoring each lesson to the specific need of the individual, creating a safe and comfortable environment in which they can express all their concerns and questions.
