An educator, linguist and grammarian at heart, I have a passion for teaching languages and the Humanities. I have worked both as a teacher in secondary schools and as a private tutor for more than ten years. During all these years I have become very familiar with all the exam boards for modern foreign languages but also gained a wonderful teaching experience in tweaking and modifying lessons, projects, and classrooms however necessary to reach every student.

With my GCSE and A level students, I closely follow the guidelines given by the exam boards, use past papers, and design specific lessons aimed at improving any area that the student might be struggling with.

All students have improved their performance by at least two grade boundaries following tuition with me, and have done extremely well at their end of year exams.

Availability: Weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: 10 years of extensive tutoring experience during which I have taught French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese from Key stage 3 to adult level.
