With more than 15 years experience tutoring from age 5 - 65 and running after-school maths clubs, I can help whatever your maths needs from KS1 through to GCSE, A-level and beyond.
I also offer tutoring for numeracy aptitude tests in employment applications and entrance exams from 11+ to Oxbridge entrance.
My tutoring approach is fully tailored to the individual and can be comprehensive across any stage or focused on particular topics. I have lots of tools and techniques and aim to make maths fun and interesting.
My first session is always free. We will use that session to make a full assessment so we can work out where help is needed. After that we can agree a lesson plan.
I am an enthusiastic mathematician and make my lessons interesting and engaging. I can tutor both students who would like to improve their confidence in maths and those who would like some additional exam preparation. I have good knowledge of exam boards, their requirements and standards expected and use my knowledge and skills to offer a tailored tuition programme using real life examples. I have many years experience working on a one-to-one basis and also offer small group tuition and always strive to develop a good rapport with my students.
I will provide appropriate challenging sessions and if required homework can be set and assessed if appropriate to ensure the best results for the students.
I can travel to you and don`t charge for travel time if it`s less than 30 minutes.

Availability: I have some limited evening availability and availability for early bird slots before school, typicallly 07.00 - 08.00 or 7.30 - 08.30.

Experience: More than 15 years experience tutoring many students whose ages vary from from 5 - 65 at all levels from basic numeracy to university entrance exams.
I currently have 8 students at GCSE level, 2 studying A-level and 6 at KS2 and 4 adult learners.
I also have 17 years working in the finance and in industry using maths in my day job.
