Hi,
My name is Sarah and I am a qualified mathematics teacher with 10 years experience teaching in secondary schools.
As well as teaching experience of mathematics I have a PhD in biochemistry This gives me the strong background in science that enables me to tutor A level chemistry and biology as well as maths. I work to increase a students confidence in their subject, enabling them to perform to the best of their ability in exams. I have tutored students who went on to achieve 3 As at A level and attended the university of first choice as well as students who got level 4 at GCSE, enabling the to proceed to the college course they wanted. Other tutees ( at KS3) have moved up maths sets at their school, with improved understanding of the subject leading to improved test results.
