I am an experienced and enthusiastic qualified teacher of Mathematics who loves teaching students on a one-to-one basis. I recently taught at a private secondary school for 5 years and work with students in Key Stage 3, GCSE (£50/hour) and AS + A2 Level (£60/hour). My most recent Ofsted report rated my teaching as Outstanding. In 2022 I home schooled two students aged 14 and 16. I raised the maths grade of the oldest student from a grade 4 to a grade 7 in 7 months.

I have experience home tutoring able students who are trying to push for higher grades and also students who struggle with numeracy and need to focus on basic skills.

I love teaching Mathematics and I am committed to making it fun and accessible to as many students as possible. One of my priorities is building confidence as students make the most progress when they are relaxed and enjoying the subject.

I taught online throughout lock-down and was surprised at how effective it is. I have therefore decided to offer online lessons as well as face-to-face. This would include students being able to send me work to mark and also messaging me with questions during the week.
