Hello, I am a highly experienced Science/Chemistry tutor having worked in Outstanding Schools and Colleges with a proven track record of achieving excellent results. I have up to date and excellent subject knowledge of teaching GCSE/A-level Chemistry as well as Key Stage 3 Science. I have the ability to explain difficult concepts to all learners and help with transitioning between the key stages. Usually, after a few years of tutoring my students go on to study Medicine, Dentistry and other STEM degrees at leading Universities.

I tutor from key stage 3 up to A levels and my students find my lessons well planned, enjoyable, with a focus on exam techniques.

I provide all resources including exam papers, full mark scheme, booklets and I also have access to all the modern learning resources which make lessons exciting. With many years of experience of teaching GCSE and A-level students, I am extremely familiar with common student misconceptions and difficulties and how to overcome them. It is greatly rewarding to see my students increase in confidence through my varied and successful teaching techniques, especially accessing the mathematical aspects of the course.

I usually teach from my home classroom and do one to one and group sessions. However, due to Covid-19, I am currently only delivering online lessons.

Availability: Weekday evenings and Weekends.

Experience: Currently working as a Chemistry Teacher with STEM lead. My role also includes helping with admission into medical schools and Oxbridge.

Fully trained on new specification for AQA and Practical Endorsement.
