I offer small group (max 4 children) English and Maths tuition for children aged 5-14. I find many children don`t enjoy 1:1 tuition as they find it very intense being watched so closely whilst they are thinking and working. By keeping my groups small I am still able to provide a high level of teaching input but also give children time to think independently in a supportive environment which is an important skill to take back to school. However, despite being in a group each child is working on their own individual programme of work. I cater for all abilities whether your child needs extra help or even pushing in an area they are exceeding. I aim to make sessions fun and engaging to increase motivation and enjoyment in learning.
I can also help your child prepare for SATs and 11 Plus Exams.

Availability: Weekdays from 3:45 - 4:45pm & 5:00 - 6:00pm in venues in Balsall Common, Dorridge, Hampton in Arden, Knowle & Tilbury Green.
Saturdays mornings in Solihull.
Easter holiday and summer lessons available.

Experience: I was a primary school teacher for 18 years before starting tutoring and have taught across the whole age range. Also, as part of my teaching role I was responsible for the school`s one-to-one tuition programme.
