Information about Rachael
Hiya,
I am a Psychology and Sociology tutor living in South West London but can travel to tutee. I believe that students should be supported to build their knowledge, realise their potential and open up future opportunities. I use a variety of methods and resources to suit individual learners.
The subjects I currently tutor are Sociology (at GCSE, A-level and undergraduate level) and Psychology (at GCSE, A-level, IB and undergraduate level). These subjects are tutored across different exam boards such as AQA, OCR and WJEC.
The topics covered will be tailored to your needs. To give you an idea of topic areas that I have recently tutored:
-Approaches, memory, social influence, psychopathology, biopsychology, eating behaviour, aggression and research methods in Psychology
-Family, education, crime and beliefs in Sociology
-Exam revision, past paper questions and assignments etc for all units
I trained as a teacher at one of the top universities for education, and have previously been a Head of Department (Social Sciences) and am currently Director of Sixth Form (Senior Management) at an independent school.
All abilities, ages and social backgrounds are welcome. So if you are looking for a friendly and professional tutor please get in contact with me.
Best wishes,
Rachael
