I am a highly experienced and friendly tutor with a real talent for understanding each student`s specific needs and learning styles. I have been tutoring for over fifteen years, covering various subjects from KS1 to A Level, with consistently excellent results. I enjoy helping young people realize their potential and cultivate a love for learning.
I firmly believe that every student can achieve amazing things with the right support. I always customise my tutoring to suit each student`s individual needs.
I am well-versed in GCSE and A Level exam boards, as well as 11+ and common entrance exams for various schools in London. I not only enhance subject knowledge but assist students with exam techniques and work to build their confidence.
I work in the Museum Sector conducting research and developing content. I am also pursuing a PhD at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, focusing on reproductive health and epidemiology.

I originally reached out to Poppy for Maths tutoring. She was brilliant both for maths and for science. She`s great at describing things clearly and succinctly, is engaging, and kept my daughter engaged. She really knows her stuff, which means she knows how to simplify the complex. She is also great at coming up with exam techniques. She is also good with teenagers with ADHD. I`d highly recommend her.

Poppy has been instrumental to my daughter for instilling new techniques and promoting her efforts for 11+ exams.We have recently started with Poppy and found my daughter loving her lessons.A great tutor with outstanding skills to engage with students of different academic aptitude !
