Information about Neil
I am a family man who loves to spend time with my children and wife, when I`m not working. My free time is spent training for Ironman triathlons.
I am committed to providing the best education possible, especially when preparing students for examinations. I use repetative past paper practise and have had pupils go from E grade (30%) to A & B grade (70 to 80%). I also make use of online educational sites where available.
I tutor full-time and teach in comprehensive secondary schools.
Availability: I am fully self employed, so I work 7 days a week, all year round, taking time off only for important scheduled dates.
I will travel to areas which include Cardiff, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Merthyr. {Please ask if unsure}.
I have pupils 1-2-1, usually for 1 or 2 hours per week, or I can provide block sessions for pupils who normally attend boarding school etc.
I occasionally conduct small group sessions, but I always recommend 1-2-1.

Experience: I have been self employed as a personal tutor since 1992, teaching a wide range of children and adults, from Key Stage levels 1 to 4 GCSE, up through GCE `A` levels and on to Degrees in Engineering, Nursing, Sport science and Paramedics.
From 1997 to 2002, I worked as an examiner for the WJEC marking mathematics papers.
