Information about Penny
I offer tuition in English, Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning for the 11+ Common Entrance Exam.
I use the CGP (CEM), practice and test papers, alongside other relevant 11+ resources.
As every child is different I tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs, promoting confidence and self esteem throughout the lesson. I encourage my pupils to tackle a given task by setting challenging but achievable targets.
From past experience I find that children work better away from their own environment and with no family distractions so I do prefer to teach at my own house.
Availability: Monday - Friday 3.30pm - 7pm
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have had 18 years experience in education and have been tutoring privately since 2007.

My son saw Penny for help with passing the 11+. He really excelled under Penny’s knowledgeable tuition. She has a nurturing and calm way of explaining things and my son very much enjoyed his sessions. My son had two offers of school places and we cannot thank Penny enough. Highly recommend.
